Role Before Joining MRED+D: General Manager, Indiabulls Real Estate
Sachin Yadav joins the Berkeley MRED+D program from Gurugram, India, where he was associated with leading real estate developer Indiabulls Real Estate as General Manager in their Regulatory Compliance department. He did his schooling in various cities in India and finally received his bachelor's degree in Architecture from University of Pune, India in 2004. After graduation he worked in the corporate real estate sector for almost a decade and a half with top real estate corporates like DLF, Emmar, IREO, and Raheja Universal. He started his corporate career as an architect and was part of team planning major residential township projects in Northern India. Due to his multidisciplinary understanding of business, he moved to the Regulatory Compliance department wherein he strategized and handled project approvals and operations for various organizations. During his illustrious career he worked on a variety of real estate development projects ranging from residential townships, industrial townships, group housings and commercial complexes encompassing a development of 3000+ acres.
By pursuing a Master in Real Estate Development + Design program at this stage of his career, Sachin hopes to understand how real estate is affected under different administrations and in different geographies, how it affects the economies. He is also interested in learning real estate finance and development of mass housing for the low-income group.
In his free time, Sachin enjoys movies, music, travelling and getting together with friends.
