Paul Davis is currently an Acquisitions and Asset Manager at Lakeside Investment Company in Oakland, CA. His role is to source, analyze, and perform due diligence on the purchase of commercial real estate in the Bay Area. He also works on day-to-day asset management tasks, such as litigation support, and joint venture waterfall distributions. He previously interned for Link Senior Development, where he worked on land acquisitions, entitlements, and market research for senior living facilities in Southern California. Through these roles, he has gained experience underwriting multifamily projects while assisting in communication with architects, local municipalities, brokers, and key development partners. He is well-versed in real estate finance and pro forma modeling for development opportunities.
Paul has relocated from his hometown of San Diego to the Bay Area, where he joins the UC Berkeley MRED+D program. He is pursuing a career in real estate development because he aspires to develop profitable projects that meet the needs and demands of the local market. Paul received his B.S degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship at BYU-Hawaii.
He previously gained three years of entrepreneurial experience as he managed his own start-up, Breeze Medical Solutions LLC, a remote telemedicine business that generated six-figure profits through pharmaceutical sales. He hired and trained 10 employees to increase daily sales, meet weekly goals, and improve telecommunication skills.
On a personal note, Paul is an adventure seeker, loves the outdoors, and is always trying to get into the ocean to surf, kitesurf, and go sailing. He will be taking advantage of the Bay Area and the amazing nature it has to offer.
