Role Before Joining MRED+D: Associate Planner, City of Burlingame

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego. After graduating, Michelle has worked in both public and private sectors as a planner. Her years of experience with the permitting and entitlement process for a variety of projects has further opened the doors into the real estate development world, and as she advances her knowledge, skills, and competencies in the MRED+D program, she hopes to continue to strive to be both an effective urban planner and a real estate professional. Michelle is confident that she can pursue a project management position in the real estate development field and be a key player in influencing urban sustainability, equity, and resilience. Her personal hobbies and interests include strength training, trying new food and coffee spots, and traveling.
