Role Before Joining MRED+D: Bridge Originations Analyst, Ready Capital
Jesse DiGiovanni is a real estate professional with an eclectic mix of experience. Jesse graduated from Tulane University in 2018 where he studied Finance with an emphasis on Real Estate Development. He began his career as an Investment Sales Broker but transitioned to the financial side of the industry shortly thereafter. He then spent over a year at Strategic Property Associates, a company that works directly with many major companies in the CMBS servicing industry. Here, Jesse was able to advance his understanding of the securitization market, familiarize himself with loan documents and underwriting, and formulate comprehensive reports detailing the implications that new leases had on the overarching securitized asset. He then transitioned to the debt fund Ready Capital, the subsidiary lending arm of Waterfall Asset Management, a credit-related hedge fund with over $12B in assets under management. There, he worked as an Analyst on the Bridge Lending Team, where he underwrote all commercial asset types across the country. In roughly two years at Ready Capital, Jesse was the lead analyst on closing over $200MM worth of floating rate loans.
