Prior to joining UC Berkeley’s MRED+D program, George was an attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP. George’s practice focused on counseling clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, entitlements, leasing, joint ventures, and development. Prior to his experience with Morrison & Foerster LLP, George was an attorney at Hoge Fenton, where his practice involved commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
Currently, George is a Planning Commissioner for the City of San Jose and a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
George is entering the MRED+D program with the desire to identify best practices in his pursuit to develop projects that (i) are aesthetically pleasing, (ii) respond to the socioeconomic challenges endemic to the Bay Area, and (iii) create value for investors.
George received his undergraduate and law degrees from Santa Clara University and a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University.
