Evan is a Philly-based, third-generation commercial contractor preparing to launch a development arm of his family business.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in Philosophy, Evan worked for a not-for-profit urban farm and later a startup dealing with local food systems. From there he transitioned into his family business and has focused the last five or so years on gaining commercial construction and business experience, while developing small projects on the side.
Coming out of the MRED+D program, Evan hopes to have crafted a coherent business plan to address the themes of sustainability, community building, and local food systems through development. He also has three projects currently in various stages of predevelopment that he intends to use as case studies during his course work. These will be the first projects he completes post-grad.
Evan is an avid trail runner and completed four Ultra-distance runs in 2020, culminating in a 100M race in the mountains of West Virginia. He also likes to surf, hike, and camp whenever he is able!
