Diego’s passion for real estate development began when he realized how cities and societies can be transformed using this industry. Right after graduation, he agreed to start a boutique design and construction firm together with his father in Mexico City. Diego has managed to design and build buildings worth $11 million. Through organic architecture, he has convinced clients to change their projects to achieve better economic and social impact. Through the design and construction of more than 8000 square meters, Diego has transformed drawings into buildings. The important reflection on this experience is visualizing how one can negotiate a positive impact through construction.
During the MRED+D program, Diego hopes to acquire from his teachers and colleagues the necessary knowledge to be able to impact the environment, the cities and especially the people who live and participate in the construction of them through real estate development in a positive way.
Diego enjoys going for walks--getting to know cities by walking through them is one of his passions. This allows him to understand the areas better and know the essence of each space.
