| The Berkeley Garden Club's stated objective is to, "stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs; aid in the protection of native flora and fauna; and encourage civic plantings." The members of the Club have been meeting monthly in pursuit of these goals since 1932. | The collection consists of minutes and budgets from the 1930's to the 1970's; various scrapbooks (Achievement Scrapbook, Berkeley Beautiful Project, Bulbs, Herbs, Spices and Edible Plants); photographs documenting the Club's activities, starting in 1967, but primarily from the late 1980's to the late 1990's. There are also some yearbooks and membership records. |
