Donating Historical Materials

Financial support is also critical to the survival and success of the Archives. Although located on the University of California Berkeley Campus, our operating budget is secured through grants, fees, and donations. Contributions provide necessary preservation supplies and conservation activities to ensure the longevity of the archival records. They also provide funding for trained professional staff and technicians to facilitate access to the Archives through increased hours and improved cataloging.

To make a donation to the Archives, please complete the Gift Form and make checks payable to the UC Regents.

In-Kind Gifts

Donations of appropriate furniture such as flat files are also welcome. It may be possible to take a tax deduction for the donation of equipment and furniture.
