The core faculty group in urban design is comprised of those faculty from the three departments in the College of Environmental Design who are engaged in urban design research, teaching, and professional practice. Current faculty research interests include design of streets and public places, urban infill and repair, design at the urban edge, design standards and review, design of educative cities, environmental simulation, form and structure of urban places, and urban density and scale.
